ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering commitments on secured projects.Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of projects are exploited to deliver increased.To deliver projects to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, expectations to be exceeded wherever possible.To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, project or otherwise) associated with each and every project.Effective solutions which meet our quality expectations and can be delivered to our clients whilst managing the risk and ensuring back-to-back terms and conditions.Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budget requirements.Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts. Work with the Planning team to manage the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and key milestones. Creation of detailed project execution plans, appropriate to the stage gate/design maturity. What kinds of projects would I be working on? Whilst Laminar supports many types of complex projects including; data centers, highways, railways, nuclear power plants, high-end residential, and any other type of complex project you can think of (Who are our clients? Our clients include major Owners/Operators, Main Contractors, and Subcontractors, with project values between £1m and £1B+ globally. With regards to Data Centres, we work with all the major developers and end customers dominating this sector, with an ever growing order book.Where would I be working? As a general rule, we attend projects 4/5 days a week if site is within a reasonable daily commute.How does what I do connect with the long-term impact on the construction industry? As a consultant in the field, you will be tasked with understanding and solving common problems. We don’t want to reinvent the wheel every time so you will be responsible for documenting new solutions and evolving existing ones we have developed. The improvement never stops. This will go into our knowledge repository which we are going to open source to the industry.The knowledge you capture will be used to develop new products which we will build.
