PROJECT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR - SOLAR POWER

Opportunity to join a global leading renewable energy developer and investor company in Spain, as Sr project Development Manager , or Project Development Director , Based on experience.Location : Ideally Madrid, as the team is there Role:1. Identify prospective projects with suitable solar resource, electric transmission access, and site characteristics2. Create and manage project development budgets and estimates3. Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including elected officials, regulators, utilities4. Negotiation and manage of Developer´s Contracts5. Work with internal resources, such as the Legal, Engineering, Project Finance and EPC teams6. Obtain land surface rights to design, permit, construct, operate, and maintain solar power projects7. Manage state, federal, and regional permitting of solar facilities8. Participate in interconnection agreement negotiations9. Manage environmental studies10. Oversee the preparation of proposals that are submitted to utilities11. Support the financial analysis and modeling of the project12. Provide reports to management by producing regular and frequent pipeline updates, project status updates, and other reporting documents13. Research energy market and competition on an ongoing basis14. Communicate information continuously and effectively to cross-functional teamOur Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Laws, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.2. Strong green field project development experience in the green energy industry.3. Team player with effective communication skills.4. Pro-active, hands-on and driven.5. Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred.6. English and Spanish fluency required.7. Willing and able to travel
