The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team sits within Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing, developing & rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions & divisions globally and help our brands accelerate organic growth.THE JOBWe are looking for a business focused, technically skilled, highly motivated, and proactive Product Director to join our team dedicated to building and maintaining our cutting-edge Consent, Identity & Single Sign-On product. As Product Director, you will be responsible for the product and engineering of our Consent, Identity & Single Sign-On product, act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring that the technical aspects of the SSO product align with the business goals and user needs.What are we looking for?A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field provides a solid foundation for understanding both business requirements and technical aspects.15+ years of hands-on experience in leading product/engineering and implementing scalable software systemsProven experience in solution architecture, particularly in designing and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and integrating with identity providersMUST HAVE:In-depth understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML, with the ability to design secure and efficient authentication workflows.Proficiency in integrating with various Identity Providers (IdPs) like Okta, Auth0, Forgerock, and other leading platforms, ensuring seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) experiences.Knowledge of security standards and best practices related to identity and access management, including encryption, tokenization, and secure transmission of authentication data.Familiarity with consent management solutions, especially OneTrust, and the ability to integrate them securely within the overall architecture, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with organizational goals.NICE TO HAVE:Familiarity with various Multi-Factor Authentication methods and the ability to design solutions that enhance security by incorporating MFA seamlessly.Experience in API integration and understanding of RESTful APIs, as well as the ability to design architectures that facilitate smooth communication between systems.Knowledge of cloud-based identity services and experience in integrating SSO solutions within cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Awareness of user experience principles related to authentication and SSO, contributing to the design of solutions that provide intuitive and user-friendly experiences.Understanding of regulatory frameworks related to data privacy and security, such as GDPR and CCPA, and the ability to design solutions that ensure compliance.Coding knowledge of JAVA and Javascript (ex developer turned Architect is preferred)What will be your key responsibilities?As the Product Director for our Single Sign-On (SSO) and Consent product, you'll be responsible for translating the business requirements from various brands and divisions within Mars Petcare by setting the product and technical direction and lead a team to drive the design and integration with leading identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, Forgerock, and OneTrust for consent management. Your role involves providing overall leadership, ensuring stakeholder management, product development, product rollout across all brands and divisions and deliery to align technical solutions with business goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the vision of our SSO and Consent product, delivering secure and compliant user authentication experiences.You will be responsible for:Partner closely with other GDP Product Owners, GDPs PMO team as well as GDP leadership teams to set the product vision by bringing in inputs from the businesses, brands and divisionsBring the product vision and strategy to your business partners, seek their inputs, define use cases, build roadmaps and define mutual successLeading a team of technical product lead, business analyst, engineers and architects and own end to end product and engineering for the SSO product. Your teams will build the product using industry best in class core tools for identity management and consent management while building a set of services/micro-services to complement the tools, build standard interfaces using APIs and integration capabilities to plug-in to the petcare platform to interoperate with other products within our familyLead architecture for end-to-end solutions for the Single Sign-On (SSO) and Consent product, integrating seamlessly with identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, Forgerock, and consent solutions like OneTrust.Work closely within the team of business analyst, backend and frontend software engineers, software engineering lead etc. to build solutions to enable our divisions to capture marketing consent from consumers (and leads) at brand touchpoints such asbrand website & appsclinic Practice Mgmt SystemCRM emails and SMSsConsumer care contact center agent+moreDesigning and implementing different microservices powering the core of Mars Petcare’s Consent, Identity & Single Sign-On platform, setup migration tools, developing the code, testing, monitoring, and improving the platform.Creating and maintaining RESTful APIs for communication between Consent, Identity & Single Sign-On and other system components such as brand website, brand apps, Customer Data Platform (CDP) etc.Contributing to the software architectural design of the Consent, Identity & Single Sign-On, ensuring it aligns with best practices and meets scalability, security & privacy requirements.Work closely with marketeers, UX Researchers and UX Designers to deliver an e2e consumer journey that delivers maximum conversion and minimum “drop outs”Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, standards, and successful implementation of the proposed architecture.Design the SSO and Consent product architecture for scalability, focusing on efficient integration with various identity providers and consent management solutions. Prioritize large-scale, secure data flow.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business units and IT teams, to understand requirements, identify technical challenges, and design solutions that align with both business and technical needs.Ensure the product architecture follows best practices for data privacy and consent management.
