om   The role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Frontend Developer who enjoys working with the latest technologies and practices and is inspired to learn new things in new ways.
You will be part of a 80+ strong engineering team that prides itself on understanding the business that we support and evolve.
Our approach to platform engineering aims to build SoftwareOne’s online marketplace, client interfaces, internal integrations, and external vendor relations to a world-class standard.

Lead by example – design and build React + TypeScript features that scale, perform fast, and stay easy to maintain.
Own the architecture – set direction for micro-frontends, shared design systems, and component libraries.
Partner with product – work with Product Managers and Design Team to turn business goals into clear, small slices of work.
Guide the team – run technical design sessions, code reviews, and retros; mentor engineers and unblock them when needed.
Keep quality high – drive unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and e2e tests (Playwright) in CI/CD.
Ship safely – effectively manage releases, oversee change management, and ensure that updates are delivered to customers smoothly and without complications.
Work the process – use Scrum or Kanban boards, refine backlogs, and keep work flowing.
Guard the repo – use git flows, pull-request checks, and clear commit history.
Raise the bar – spot gaps, propose fixes, and champion modern web standards across teams.
What we need to see from you Proven experience as a staff, principal, or lead frontend engineer in a SaaS setting.
Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, single-page apps, and micro-frontends.
Strong grasp of browser fundamentals, RESTful APIs, and web performance tuning.
Comfortable turning Figma files into pixel-perfect screens and reusable components.
Track record of leading multi-team projects and mentoring engineers.
Clear, direct communication and a habit of biased-to-action decision making.
Practical use of Scrum or Kanban and solid git tooling skills.
Nice to have.
experience with GraphQL, design tokens, and cloud-based CI/CD.
