Your key responsibilities Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of credit risk areas and supporting functions Execute audit testing and co-ordinate with team members to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and documentation meets high quality standards Identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environment Prepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to GA senior management and business clients Follow-up on open audit findings and their resolution Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving GA’s processes and supporting infrastructure Your skills and experiences Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organised in a fast-paced environment Independent in judgment with the ability to challenge and be challenged whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism Strong verbal and written communication skills 3+ years of experience in (i) a professional or internal audit role within the financial services / banking industry or (ii) a related control function Detailed understanding of practical and theoretical aspects of credit risk management and operations best supported by formal certifications or practical experience in these areas.
Accustomed to operating in a highly regulated environment.
