PRINCIPAL APPLIED SCIENTIST

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - A PhD in CS, ECE, Statistics or in a related, highly quantitative field.
- Extensive research expertise in generative AI, computer vision, machine learning, or NLP.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, or NLP.
- Proven record of developing new approaches, algorithms, application areas, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent skills in problem solving, programming, and computer science fundamentals.
- Solid background in statistics, math, CS, machine learning, and computer vision or NLP.

We are looking for a hands-on researcher, who wants to derive, implement, and test the next generation of Generative AI algorithms in multiple projects ranging from Computer Vision, ML, and NLP.

Key job responsibilities - Derive novel computer vision, machine learning, and NLP algorithms.
- Define scalable computer vision, machine learning and NLP models.
- Invent the next generation of Generative AI models.
- Work with large datasets.
- Work with software engineering teams to deploy your innovations.
- Publish your work at top conferences/journals.
- Mentor team members in the use of your CV/ML techniques.

- Extensive experience writing scientific papers, with multiple publications in top machine learning, computer vision or NLP conferences/journals, like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, PAMI, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, JMLR, etc.
- Expertise in generative models, 3D vision, transformers, or other computer vision, NLP or machine learning techniques.
- Experience in large data analysis.
- Solid knowledge of statistics and probability.
- Experience working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizations in the company.
