Job description
Technical Skills:
10+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 to 3+ years as a Databricks, PostgreSQL developer for a large/high volume project.
Though the DB is Postgre, but any resource who spend good amount of his time with Oracle or other DB and have 2 to 3 years of experience with Postgre DB should also be fine.
Should have worked on Analytical projects. Should be able to understand the underline data, the relevance of data, use of data for a given hypothesis.
Should write queries, procedures etc. to achieve the hypothesis.
Should be mindful of the performance and other aspects of the solution presented to the team.
Any experience working on CRM related projects would be preferred.
Strong database fundamentals and has experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks, and database ER modeling, databases (PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
Experienced with PostgreSQL PostgreSQL Architecture.
Implement and maintain database code in the form of tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, IO bottlenecks.
Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON
Process Skills:
Should know software development and Databricks migration process
Behavioral Skills:
Customer handling, and good communication skills
Certification: Any relevant certification
