Please, check out our Recruitment Policy The role    We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our team! The successful candidate will work at the intersection of machine learning and bioinformatics, implementing advanced techniques such as encoder-decoder language models, graph neural networks, and contrastive learning to annotate protein sequences with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop and implement novel machine learning algorithms for protein sequence annotation.
Design and train encoder-decoder language models tailored to protein sequence data.
Explore graph neural network architectures for capturing complex relationships in protein sequences.
Investigate contrastive learning techniques to improve representation learning for protein annotation tasks.
Collaborate closely with other team members to integrate developed models into existing pipelines for protein design.

Whom would we like to hire?   Professional experience    Must Have A master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field  Strong background in protein research  Some background in machine learning, with experience in developing and applying deep learning models  Desirable but not required/ Nice to have  Familiarity with protein sequence analysis and bioinformatics tools.
Education and training A master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.
Languages Proficient in English  Technical skills Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with relevant libraries/frameworks (e.
., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Competences    Candidates must have highly developed organizational skills, with a demonstrated proficiency in conducting independent research and delivering high-quality results within defined timelines  The Offer – Working Conditions  Contract duration.
