The project will explore novel attosecond and sub-femtosecond pump-probe schemes combining pulses generated in a frequency range from the VIS-UV up to the X-ray region to access electron dynamics in molecules.
It is developed within the MATRIX (“Matter in Action with Optical and X-ray Lasers”) consortium, which will provide specific training and close interaction with the experimental groups within the network.
Candidate Profile.
– Master’s degree in physics, chemistry or related fields.
– Interest in developing theoretical methods for light-matter interactions (attosecond science, ultrafast spectroscopic techniques).
– Background in numerical methods and/or programming skills (compiled or interpreted languages) will be valued.

– 36-month duration contract.
