Position Overview Eosol Group is currently seeking a Permitting Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Italy.
This strategic position plays a vital role in facilitating and supervising the permitting process, enabling seamless coordination between various stakeholders, including governmental agencies, local authorities, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will ensure adherence to timelines and critical milestones, particularly concerning grid connections, which are essential for the commissioning of our renewable energy plants.
Key Responsibilities Liaison Duties.
Act as the primary point of contact between Eosol Group and external entities involved in the permitting process.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure the flow of information and timely resolution of issues.
Supervisory Role.
Oversee and coordinate the activities of team members and contractors involved in the permitting process.
Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with established timelines and regulatory requirements.
Documentation Management.
Compile, review, and submit necessary documentation and permits to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
Ensure that all submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted promptly.
Project Coordination.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and timelines.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays or issues that may impact permitting timelines.
Regulatory Compliance.
Stay informed of changes in permitting regulations and procedures that may affect project timelines.
Ensure that all permitting activities comply with relevant laws and uphold the organization's standards for quality and sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement.
Facilitate meetings and discussions with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and partner organizations.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and regulatory requirements effectively.
Risk Management.
Identify potential risks and challenges within the permitting process.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure on-time project delivery.
Performance Monitoring.
Establish performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the permitting process.
Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in permitting, compliance, or project management within the renewable energy sector or a related industry.
Knowledge.
In-depth understanding of permitting processes, regulatory frameworks, and environmental impact assessments specific to Italy and the European Union.
Skills.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.
Languages.
Fluency in Italian and English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
