PATHOLOGY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - SPAIN

As a Pathology Operations Coordinator you will work as part of a team that acts as the bridge between the histology / cytology lab technicians and the pathologists.
This role is a full-time position based in our lab in Barcelona.
In this role you may be responsible for any or all of the following.
Must be a liaison between the technical laboratory pathologists external labs and managers.
Responsible for case distribution and shipment of cases to pathologists.
Mail management.
Performs a variety of protocols for new procedures.
Maintains and communicates schedules and changes in schedules.
Manages inventory procures supplies and stocks.
Responsible for general maintenance and overall cleanliness of equipment.
Supports and maintains various processes systems and databases.
Performs recordkeeping data collection and analysis.
Provides support in pre-dictated medical reports.
Performs administrative duties such as fill in submission forms preparing parcel deliveries files requisitions or mails to external labs.
What you will need to succeed.
High School degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
Must be reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
Fluency in Spanish.
Good conversational English skills are recommended Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules standard operating procedures (SOPs) material safety data sheets (MSDSs) operating and maintenance instructions government rules and technical procedures.
Ability to prioritize.
Strong initiative and follow through.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
Good computer skills.
Microsoft Office Work environment and physical demands.
