OPERATOR TECHNICIAN

Purpose of Role.
Responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring efficient production processes, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Results / Accountabilities 1.
Operate and monitor processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
3.
Adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
4.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
5.
Comply with all safety, health, and environmental rules 6.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
7.
Record and report production data and any equipment malfunctions.
8.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve technical issues.
9.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10.
Assist in training new operators and technicians.
11.
Participate in preventive maintenance and stock counts.
12.
Control and report raw material usage and machine output.
13.
Monitor critical control points (CCP 1 and CCP 2).
14.
Regularly check outputs to ensure product quality and reduce waste.

Qualifications Education and Work Experience.
• HND in any related engineering course.
• Minimum 3-years proven experience as machine operator • Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of current FSMS & ISO standards are a must.
• Knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery including any one or more of filling, cutting, packaging, pressing & wrapping granulating, boules, blending etc.
