WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are looking for a highly dynamic and motivated colleague to join our team. We are on a mission to provide a state-of-the-art, inhouse developed, Operations Platform to BASFs Production Plants and with that enable intensive digitalization in daily operations. We are focused on the development of Platform capabilities which make it possible to add new apps on the Production workplace and reach advanced levels of digitally assisted work processes. Our team also partners with several neighboring teams for Application product development to collaborate on an integrated platform solution.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of a global, in-house developed full stack platform that integrates multiple domains of BASFs manufacturing environment and successfully modernizes legacy systems.
- You will be responsible for the infrastructure development of a new, in house global operations platform associated with the production, maintenance, and operational EHS domains of BASFs production facilities.
- You will work in a global, agile development team to support the continuous integration/continuous delivery of operations platform, both inhouse and 3rd party solutions as needed.
- You will set up additional infrastructure resources and implement deployment pipelines for our applications
- You will manage cloud based solutions, providing ongoing development and maintenance in related areas (e.g. containerization)
- You will support high priority and high complexity incidents associated with deployed operations platform
- You will consult and support on the integration of non-full stack elements of the operations platform, such as low-code platforms or legacy solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant field.
- Strong experience in developing and supporting infrastructure solutions for new platform development.
- Very good working knowledge Azure Cloud
- In depth understanding of cloud environments, microservices, containerization, Kubernetes clusters, and related infrastructure tools and concepts
- Good Knowledge about cyber security in the Azure cloud, DevSecOps capabilities incl. SAST, DAST, image scanning and more. Eager to follow up continuous evolving cyber security requirements and solutions, and translating this into implementation roadmap.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and workflow automation (CI/CD)
- Experience in providing infrastructure operational support as specialist
- Analytical capabilities and trouble-shooting skills
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Self-starter and able to work independently with continuous learning mindset
- Fluency in English
- Experience working in agile software and team environment
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform
- Hands on experience with GitOps like ArgoCD
