One Identity Application Engineer About the Job At Allianz Technology, Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a fundamental pillar of our Information Security strategy.
We are seeking a One Identity Application Engineer to join our global IAM team, playing a key role in managing and optimizing IAM operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our access management solutions remain efficient, secure, and resilient against attackers, all while aligning with audit requirements to protect Allianz Group's IT services.
If you have a strong technical background in IAM, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are eager to contribute to a global security framework, this is your chance to make a significant impact What you do • Administration and configuration of our One Identity Manager (1IM) environments and management of integrated identities and services • System maintenance and execution of operational tasks • Incident analysis, problem and change process handling for our IAM services • Management of the cloud infrastructure hosting our IAM services • Regular documentation and update of IAM processes and operating procedures within our collaboration tools (Jira, Wiki).
What you bring • Performance management of applications, databases, and infrastructure; software automation and monitoring using PowerShell scripting, Jenkins, Ansible, Grafana, and Pipelines.
• Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux servers; DNS, TCP/IP, network technologies; MS-SQL database technologies; Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Experience with agile software methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban; experience in IAM with strong knowledge of IAM concepts, processes, and understanding of security, risks, and governance is a plus.
• Technical expertise and interest in IT security, Identity and Access Management, and related fields; open to new trends and technologies; proven ability to create proper documentation and transfer knowledge in an enterprise-scaled, international environment.
• Competence to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar situations with problem-solving skills based on practice and precedent; ability to cooperate efficiently with clients, work in cross-functional teams, and support new team members; experience with incident analysis/handling in close contact with architects, business analysts, engineers, and customers.
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration and IT operations; experience with modern IGA software tools like One Identity Manager (strongly preferred), SailPoint, Salesforce, ForgeRock, Oracle Identity Manager or similar.
• Degree in Informatics, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related areas, or comparable work experience; excellent English skills, both written and spoken fluently • GenAI.
