What is The Role This is a Software Engineer role on our CI/CD systems team.
This team ensures that we delivery software to our customers securely and on-time and it does so by ensuring that build, test, and deployment pipelines are continuously operating at maximum efficiency.
Additionally, this team focuses on a number of other aspects of secure software development, such as securing cloud development environments and GitHub repositories.
What You Will Be Doing Contribute to the build-chain security of the software that we ship to our customers through a wide variety of techniques with a mentality which extends beyond simple regulatory compliance and instead thinks about how to secure our delivery pipeline from every angle.
Improve our continuous-delivery platform built on Buildkite and GitHub Actions which enables secure, end-to-end automated testing and delivery for developers who push changes into production multiple times per day across many hundreds of repositories.
Build and maintain a wide range of analytics to measure development and deployment velocity Be a part of a Center of Excellence for software delivery in Elastic and act as a trusted advisor to product and platform teams about how to build, test, and deploy software in production.
