You’ll connect to varied data sources, model for performance, and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
This role is ideal for an experienced freelance/consulting professional who enjoys autonomy, rapid iteration, and partnering closely with business users.
What you will be doing.
Dashboard Design & Build.
Create engaging, interactive Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and self‑service views that answer real business questions.
Data Connectivity.
Connect and integrate multiple data sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud services.
Azure, Snowflake, AWS, GCP).
Data Prep & Modeling.
Use Power Query (M) and DAX to clean, transform, and model data (star/Dimensional).
Stakeholder Collaboration.
Gather requirements, iterate prototypes, validate metrics, and translate needs into scalable data products.
Automation & Performance.
Schedule refreshes, optimize models, and support CI/CD or deployment pipelines where applicable.
Enablement & Training.
Run short walk‑throughs, Q&A sessions, or quick reference demos so business users get value from reports.
What you need to succeed.
Proven Power BI expertise (DAX, Power Query, advanced visuals, bookmarks, drill‑downs).
Strong SQL (querying, profiling, performance troubleshooting).
Working knowledge of MS SQL / SSMS.
Solid grasp of data modeling (star-schema / dimensional) and visualization best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English (Polish is a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have.
Microsoft Certified.
Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or in progress).
ETL / orchestration tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
Python for data wrangling or quick ML prototypes.
Experience with Azure data services (Synapse, Data Lake, Logic Apps, Functions) or other platforms (Snowflake, GCP, AWS).
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric / OneLake / DirectLake concepts.
