Packs EMEA is looking for an exceptional Jr Merchandiser to join our Product team based in Antwerp, Belgium.
Let’s talk about the role!      Your role is to build assortments and collection plans in line with the brands global strategy by obtaining a deep understanding of the market situation, needs and product performance.
You translate the results of these analyses into a seasonal Merchandising Plan with strong guidance towards our Product Development team for them to translate this briefing into a physical product offer.
You will partner closely with Merchandising, Design & Development teams.
You will be dedicated to special projects and development of collections for VF brands.
How You Will Make a Difference You will achieve this by.
Staying informed on what is selling of each channel and category and regularly download the business performance to the wider teams.
Developing a complete understanding of consumer trends and markets/competition including their pricing strategies.
Supporting in driving best in class profitable assortments, driven by marketplace reality and business opportunities and in line with the brand vision.
Building and maintaining seasonal assortments and proposing efficient SKU allocation by conducting in depth productivity analyses to fulfil business targets and anticipate trends.
Contributing to the line development and collaborating with the Merchandising, Design & Development teams to align on the seasonal direction, collection briefings/box line plans.
Control margin performance, FOB evolution, set price points and manage the pricing strategy accordingly Accountable for updating and accuracy at all time of the different systems (Grid, line lists, Analyses, PLM).
Building and maintaining line plans and tools for assortment planning and KPI tracking.
Sales tools.
Samples management and the development of product presentations and tools.
Skills for Success A few years experience in Merchandising, Sales, Product Management, Merchandising planning ideally (including internships / master programs or entry level roles).
Understanding of Excel and has strong detail orientation and thoroughness Is passionate about product innovation and deeply consumer-focused.
