Descripción de puesto.
requirement exists with the services organisation to generate a forecast of material for A/C maintenance events in order to improve the service performance currently in place for our customers.
The focus of this requirement will be A400M customers to begin with but there is potential to extend to other transport platforms.
Main activities Interpretation of technical publications material requirements and consequent realisation into material supply/repair forecasts.
Analysis of material data for historical maintenance events, in order to develop a knowledge database for material scheduled and unscheduled demands.
Build a method/algorithm to generate a BOM (Bill of Material) for future maintenance events, according to the tasks to be performed during the event.
Evaluate the accuracy of the BOM by adherence analysis when compared with real consumption data in order to continuously improve the material prediction and increase material availability for the end customer.
Definition of internal processes and KPIs (customized according to each Customer’s requirements) in order to implement, monitor and maintain a spares stock and the pool of repairable items.
Required Skills Knowledge required.
Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance environment.
Strong knowledge and experience in Supply-Chain and logistics areas (APICs, Logistics certifications).
Appreciated past experience in Inventory Management.
Ability for dealing with large sets of data with an advance level in office package (Excel and Access).
SAP R/3 (Logistic-Production module) expert level, work experience in production, planning, inventory and purchase orders management transactions.
Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects, and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment with unpredictable and shifting priorities.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Technically capable of determining “what’s wrong” in complex situations and offering potential solutions; identifies root causes of problems and works with others to create effective solutions.
