Our company is located in Sagunto (Valencia, Spain). The Company is a Microsoft partnered managed service provider who are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join their team. The organization is going through a period of significant growth and are working with several highly renowned clients to support them with their SQL Server requirements. You will work collaboratively with a team of like-minded DBAs with the goal to effectively resolve all client needs within a timely manner.Key ResponsibilitiesWork on installing, configuring and supporting High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.Analyze Partner data to develop an understanding of performance and to highlight possible changes or opportunities to increase performance and partner growth.Work alongside and collaborate with Service Desk and Delivery to ensure processes and communication are clear and aligned.Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to resolve.Provide Azure Cloud support with clients Azure SQL Databases, Azure VM's and Azure Managed Instances.Previous experience working as a SQL Server DBA+4 years like SQL Server DBA.Strong understanding of database maintenance operationsStrong T-SQL skillsExperience with SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery setupsExperience working within an Azure cloud setup supporting Azure SQL databases, VMs and managed instances.Distributed source control systems (Git, Mercurial etc.)Microsoft SSIS/ETL experience (Desirable)Jira (Desirable)MongoDB (Desirable)PostgreSQL (Desirable)Required Skills and ExperienceStrong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.Good technical knowledge of databases and query languagesBe able to understand, communicate, interpret information with IT to manage, report, assist in the build of performance reporting.Adept with organizing and prioritizing work commitments and hitting tight deadlines.Experienced in identifying and analyzing trends whilst providing solutions to problems.Strong written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a team.Good understanding of customer service.This organization is focused on the training and development of each member of the team.
