As the Software V&V Manager in Robotics and Digital you will be leading the team that executes software testing procedures for a complex real-time medical robotic system.

  Core Job Responsibilities.
Manage the testing team and software verification activities by supporting pre-verification and leading formal verification testing of our robotic system.
Develop and implement strategic test methods, complete and testable requirements, ensures test coverage and execution of system software tests.  Orchestrate test execution between full time employees and contingent labor resources to manage the verification activities across multiple test systems.
Measures and improves team performance and quality driven outcomes.
Work closely with the software quality, robotics, clinical and systems engineering teams to effectively carry out test execution.
Champion efforts to improve utilization of test techniques in support of software development, build and release activities, and formal testing.
Coach and mentor employees for future growth.
Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience  2+ years of experience leading a software testing team as a manager/V&V lead; 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience preferably with complex medical devices.
Experience developing detailed test plans and writing tests that create V&V traceability to requirements and implementations Experience with designing and implementing test strategies that scale across multiple test systems Ability to supervise, train, recruit, and develop staff; Flexibility and adaptability to changing daily activities and schedules Strong organizational, project management and inter-personal skills; adept at working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in requirements /test case management tool like JAMA or anything similar.
Preferred Experience.
Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance to IEC , ISO and 21 CFR 820.
May be assigned other duties or special projects as necessary.
Experience with JIRA or any similar defect tracking tool.
Experience testing software for complex electro-mechanical systems.
Experience with automated GUI testing tools.
Experience with networking tools for troubleshooting issues related to data transfer and performance across a network.
Knowledge of robotic control architecture.
