We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to contribute to Developer Productivity, with a focus on Test Platform Engineering. Our teams flagship platforms provide lightweight test frameworks for every layer, synthetic identities, test data seeding, endpoint mocking, and overall testing infrastructure. These tools enable Affirm Engineering Teams to perform automated, deterministic testing with consistency across locations. Additionally, we support our partner teams in conducting exploratory testing, allowing us to collaboratively evolve our ways of working.

In this role, you will actively collaborate on the multi-year roadmap, design technical solutions for the hardest problems, and drive cross-team, cross-domain initiatives. You will work closely with the Engineering Director and the team to enhance quality standards and processes, while representing the team in broader organizational efforts.

What We Look For:

- Previous Hands-On Experience in Key Technologies: Python, Kotlin, or React, with a focus on testing best practices. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.

Compensation Benefits

Base Pay Grade - P

Equity Grade - Spain 6

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100 subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).

ESP base pay range per year: 101,000 - 131,000

We are able to offer visa sponsorship for this role, but do require that someone is based in Spain for the role.
