LOCALIZATION PROJECT MANAGER

Project Managers are critical to the delivery cycle of work to the client. Project Manager will show active participation in trouble shooting, mentoring Project Coordinators, help with training new members and generally strive to help with continuous process improvement. Project Managers should have strong client, vendor, and negotiation skills.​Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrimary POC for a specific set of products and client contacts Project Managers are assigned to product groups either as the Primary PM or the Partner PM with the Primary in another time zoneDaily management of all tasks products, as Primary PMOwnership of On Time Delivery with the best quality output possible as per client needsUnderstanding the importance of, and contributing to KPI matrices (on time delivery, quality, timely resolutions of issues and queries)Anticipate potential problems with assigned projects/products; proactively provide potential solutions/mitigation to internal teams and clients; troubleshoot best practices per project/productDrive relationships with client contactsDrive forecasting discussions with client contacts and report on the process, time frames, languages with all stakeholdersUnderstanding and using tools and processes as they relate to day to day workWorking with PCs for follow ups, job instruction review, and general guidance.Learning and working with company and client-specific tools and platformsSource query/bugs monitoringAs a part of the quality assurance of the final deliverable, PM is responsible to ensure that source queries are assigned and resolved for their product lines.Provide troubleshooting for linguists and clients​RequirementsA minimum of 5 years project management and/or language quality management experience working in LocalizationExperience managing a team of onsite and/or offsite linguistsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProblem solver with excellent planning and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and customer service skillsAbility to work under pressure in a deadline driven environmentExcellent financial awareness, enthusiastic and hard workingSelf-sufficient and reliable, ability and willingness to learn new toolsFluent in English with the ability to communicate clearly in writing (English) and face-to-face online.Technical proficiency working with and troubleshooting different computer platforms, tools and ability to understand proprietary systems.​Ideally the candidate will have/be:​Degree or Masters in Translation, Business or relevant fieldPrevious face to face communications with clients over video chatExperience with Google online tools such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.Documenting processWorking in a quality certified environment also a plus (ISO, etc.)Negotiation skills are a plus!
