Royal Caribbean Group's MIA Operations & Sales Support Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead Full Stack Engineer reporting to the Manager, Contact Center Analytics & Solutions.
Position Summary We are seeking a talented Lead Full Stack Engineer that will integrate a selected group of engineers, developers and business analysts that focus in three areas within the Global Contact Centers of Royal Caribbean Group.
These areas oversee building tools and processes that facilitate daily operations across multiple levels of the Global Contact Centers organization, building tools and process that helps business leaders to make business decisions and the adoption and integration of new technologies in our existing portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Participate in business or cross-functional teams discussions about possible solutions to specific needs and assist the team to build a plan accordingly.
Solutions may come in the form of new webtools, ETLs, data transformations process, reporting, etc.
* Create and maintain documentation of systems, including design diagrams, technical specifications, and guidelines for support.
* Collaborate in the design and development of standards and procedures as well as designing patterns for code reuse.
* Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
* Present solutions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating effectively.
* Being able to troubleshoot issues with the database platform, the applications, and services that our team develops and owns.
* This role requires to be familiar with Back-end and Front-end functions.
* This role will require to supervise other team members.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills * 7+ years of experience as Software Developer or Data Engineer as Back end or Front-end developer.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science/computer engineering or related field.
* Demonstrable experience as Software Developer.
* Knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
* Experience on relational databases, preferably Oracle is a big plus.
* Experience with Databricks is a big plus.
* Understanding of REST API architecture.
* Experience in multiple programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, Python and Perl.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence engineers, peers, and senior stakeholders to consensus decisions.
