Label Designer in Zuchwil (Permanent) Overview The Label Designer 2 will be responsible for leading all aspects of label design and implementation for both lifecycle changes and new product development for products managed in the Synthes Zuchwil Quality System.
Also responsible for training, mentoring and assisting other Label Designers as needed.
Responsibilities.
·        Partners with Project Leads to ensure appropriate requirements are provided for label execution ·        Leads product label design activities ·        Creates & Maintains label records in the Labeling System.
·        Ensures label content meet requirements from Regulations & Standards ·        Ensures label design meets packaging requirements and business needs ·        Seeks opportunities to improve/enhance labeling processes.
·        Plans, tracks and executes required product labelling changes ·        Supplies progress reports as required ·        Possesses and applies an understanding of labeling requirements including quality ·        and regulatory requirements ·        Executes label change process within PLM system ·        Performs IFU content checks as needed ·        Collaborates directly with business partners ((PM, Regulatory, PD, Manufacturing, ·        Packaging, etc) as needed ·        Supports Labelling Manager during internal and external audits ·        Maintains and develops department processes and procedures ·        Contributes to process improvement ·        Leads training activities for business partners and other Label Designers ·        Assists and mentors other Label Designers as required ·        Provides updates on timing to the project lead ·        Communicates business related issues or opportunities to next management level ·        Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all regulatory and Company regulations, policies, and procedures ·        Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications ·        Completed Business school or University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications – particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint (required) ·        Experience in a regulated medical industry (preferred) ·        3-5 years professional experience (preferred) ·        Experience working with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System (preferred) ·        Experience working with Oracle Agile PLM System (preferred) ·        Experience working with PTC Windchill PLM System (preferred) ·        Data processing and analysis skills (preferred) ·        Strong Organizational and Prioritization skills ·        Strong attention to detail (required) ·        Ability to effectively prioritize work (required) ·        Comfortable working with minimal direction to agreed timelines (required) ·        Comfortable working in a systems-based workspace (required) ·        Excellent organizational and communication skills (required) ·        Proficiency in German (preferred) For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) have been part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
