The Junior Python Developer, Pharmacovigilance (PV) Solutions will be responsible for day-to-day python development and oversight of TransPerfect’s proprietary tools, updating and maintaining code, and may be in daily and regular contact with internal clients including project managers and pharmacovigilance specialists who utilize the tools on a daily basis.Job description:Write code to build web crawlers for our clients’ selected local literature websitesWrite code to help maintain web crawler and other applications, address bugs, and work on new featuresPerform regular maintenance on crawlers to ensure optimal performance on all crawlersMaintain excellent records via Request Tracker, in line with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) best practices, with a strong focus on Good Documentation PracticeAssist Project Managers with all technical aspects of their day to day workflows, learn and become an expert-level user of all TPT technologies utilized for the local literature monitoring service including but not limited to: o TPT crawlero TLS Expresso Digital Reefo Relativityo Trial InteractiveGrow existing client relationships through service and technology-led developmentComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisorRequired skills:Superior written and spoken communication skills in EnglishProficiency writing code in PythonProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Aptitude to learn and excel in various technology mediumsExceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables to clientRequired experience and qualifications:Minimum Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 1-2 years of python experience or within the tech industryDesired skills and experience:Able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExperience with web crawling/web scraping a/o browser automation methods and technologies (specifically Selenium and Requests)Proficiency with Git for version controlBy applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting
