This team is also responsible for the design and development of machinery and marine systems and for the integration of all CAD models. MAIN RESPONSABILITIESAs part of the Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and development of several systems of the platform, with special focus on the design and verification of outfittings, and support for equipment and auxiliary systems. This will include the definition of requirements, development of CAD layouts, CAE analysis, supplier research and evaluation, etc. FUNCTIONSDesign and integration of 3D models of different parts of our floating platform FEA analysis of 3D structures, with focus on secondary steel elementsDevelopment and update of platform drawings and bills of materials, including general arrangement drawings as well as drawings for specific parts and systemsDevelopment of assembly drawings and instructions to support the design and development of platform on-land and marine operationsSupplier research and selectionMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:Bachelor of EngineeringMaster’s degree in Engineering is desiredExperience:2 years as Project Engineer or similar positionExperience with 3D modelling in SolidWorksRelevant experience with FEA analysis with ANSYS or similar softwareExperience with design and verification of outfittings, equipment support, secondary steel elements are valued.Experience developing technical drawings is valued.Experience with marine systems / machinery design is valued.Experience with manufacturing processes and drawings is valued.Knowledge:FEM analysisHand calculation skills and analytical thinkingSoftware:Advanced in CAD design (SolidWorks)Workbench/ANSYS knowledge Software:Fluent in Spanish and EnglishOTHER VALUABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience with design and verification of outfittings, equipment support, secondary steel elements.Experience in Naval / Offshore industry and structures.Experience working with certification bodies and international standards (DNV).Experience in development of technical documentation and drawings is valued.Knowledge of the pipe/electrical routing module in SolidWorks.Detail-oriented.Proactivity and ability to work autonomously.Ability to work in different tasks and collaborate with different teams at the same time.Passionfor renewable and offshore technologies.WHAT WE OFFERPlace of Work: Barcelona, Spain (at our Poblenou – 22@ District office).Flexible ScheduleRemotely work possible (2 days/week)🏡Private health insurance 🌡 Incentive plan: bonus and phantom sharesJoin a dynamic, young and highly motivated team working in an innovative renewable energy system with a potential to contribute substantially to the energy transition🌱Opportunity to grow within a young company in an industry which is still in its early days and is expected to grow >20% p.a. for the next 3 decades 💚
