JOIN THE TEAM

We are currently seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join our team at BASFs Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Leading and orchestrating the IT solution process in the various phases of solution design development to ensure smooth execution and compliance with current security and compliance requirements.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into the solution design
- Creating clear and comprehensive documentation of solution designs, including architecture diagrams and integration descriptions, and presenting them to the Architecture Board.
- Selecting appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on governance policies of Enterprise Architecture to maintain consistency in the system landscape of the Agricultural Solutions department
- Regularly validating governance policies against requirements and collaborating with AP Enterprise Architecture if adjustments are necessary
- Continuously reviewing existing solution designs to identify risks and vulnerabilities and providing suggestions for mitigation
- Providing mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout the entire product lifecycle to implement solutions within product timelines and budgets.
- Staying updated on changes in governance policies, as well as new technology offerings in the market and their relevance to our environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree in Computer Science, further education in IT/Digitalization
- Experience in at least two comparable positions
- Leadership experience within agile organizations
- Project experience
- Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
- IT feasibility study
- IT Infrastructure/system landscape
- Process management and improvement
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Technologies in own operational area
- Communication skills, advanced English
- Strong understanding of web security practices and performance measurement
- System integration, standard applications, consulting methods, moderation, project management and change management

NICE TO HAVE

- Strong understanding of IT solutions design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct requirement analyses by gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into technical solution designs.
- Strong interest and proficiency in modular enterprise and data architecture design across multiple platforms, as well as system integration (including APIs, databases, and third-party systems), and risk management with the ability to adapt to them.
