IT PROGRAMME MANAGER

IT Programme ManagerLocation: Barcelona, Spain100 – 110 euro per hourWe are seeking a seasoned IT Programme Manager to spearhead a critical insourcing project based in Barcelona. As the Workstream Lead, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the Global IT Helpdesk and Services back in house. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for coordinating and driving the insourcing plan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Service Management and a proven track record of successfully leading complex IT projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the insourcing workstream for the Global IT Helpdesk and Services project, overseeing all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery.Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between various stakeholders including IT teams, vendors, and business units.Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and timelines.Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across multiple teams to ensure smooth project execution.Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the project team.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Project Manager leading large-scale IT projects, particularly in insourcing initiatives.Strong background in Service Management, with knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.Excellent understanding of IT operations, including helpdesk support, service desk management, and IT infrastructure.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and deliver results within budget and timeline constraints.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
