IT P2P DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Where passion meets opportunity The best of your adventures is the one you have yet to sail! Your Purpose MSC Cruises, the 3rd largest cruise operator globally, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT P2P Development Manager to join our dynamic and international team in Geneva.
The IT P2P Development Manager is a full rounded professional with both configuration and development experience that will work on one of the most interesting digital transformations in MSC Cruises.
Reporting to the Head of IT Services, Support Functions, he/she will lead the end-to-end solution build (blueprint, configuration and development) for Procure to Pay, coordinating the system integrators and working along with the business department.
He/She will also be responsible of defining and ensuring the smooth execution of IT Testing, Cutover and Hypercare phases.
The candidate should have strong project management skills, while also being hands-on and willing to take on executional tasks.
Your Impact * Plan, execute and report to the Head of IT Services, Support Functions; * Lead the End-to-End P2P IT applications developments from Design to Hypercare ensuring technical alignment across different platforms and S4HANA modules (MM/RR/FI/CO); * Review and agree the End-to-End P2P Business processes and Blueprints' requirements with all the business stakeholders involved; * Drive IT Integration in coordination with IT legacy application owners and act as IT SAP Subject Matter Expert for other IT application owners; * Set-up a governance across Procure to Pay platforms (SAP and non-SAP technologies); * Implement and enhance testing procedures and automatic testing when necessary; * Coordinate with the security team for roles and authorisations design and implementation as well as to ensure the implementation of cyber security policies; * Actively participate to the overall release management ensuring coherence and consistency with patches and system upgrades; * Coordinate System Integrators to ensure global template design and expected implementation; * Perform Root Cause analysis, scout new technologies and raise Continuous improvement proposals for the P2P solution to improve its stability and performance; * Monitors plan and highlights anticipated IT issues or slippage.
Your Journey so far * Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer science, Economics or equivalent; * 6+ Years of experience with SAP implementation projects involving developments and configuration on P2P modules (MM, SRM, Ariba); * Proven expertise of SAP Ariba or Jaggaer (experience in implementation programs would be a plus); * Demonstrated experience leading S/4HANA projects (preferably Greenfield) with a minimum of two end-to-end implementations in a complex and fragmented landscape; * Experience in managing integrations with other applications and modules; * Experience in managing resources and working with distributed teams including near shore and offshore.
Your Essentials * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Italian and French would be a plus; * Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems; * Knowledge of Crunchtime, InfoShip or Esker; * Programming skills in at least one language (ABAP, JAVA); * Strong expertise on Fiori applications set-up and deployment (including custom Apps); * EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
