We are looking for • Degree in Finance or related field.
Advanced degree or professional designation such as MBA, CAIA, CPA or CFA is strongly preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good academic background.
• Fluent/native speaker of English.
Your role in the team To provide detailed analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) on structural and operational aspects of funds and asset management houses.
Participate in the development and maintenance of the digital tools.
Work with the Product Specialist Team to provide service to distributors globally.
Tasks.
• Conduct a structural risk assessment of investment managers, which may include liquid funds, etfs and alternatives.
• Review all DDQs and supporting documentation for managers (financial statements, ADV, valuation policy, compliance manuals, DDQ's, service provider agreements, risk reports and other relevant documents.) • Evaluate accounting/reporting processes & controls (cash management/pricing/valuation practices/NAV analyses).
• Review third party vendor relationships/agreement terms/perform on-site reviews of providers as needed.
• Assess operational infrastructure and identify key risks, documenting findings in a written report.
• Interact with internal teams as appropriate, including Investment Due Diligence, Product Management, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Sales.
• Write up detailed operational risk reports following visits and reviewing relevant fund documents.
Remain abreast of industry trends, regulatory matters, and market events affecting funds, managers, clients, and the industry.
