ACEK Corporation is present in more than 25 countries with more than 170 factories and a global workforce of over 50,000 employees.https://www.gri.com.es/POSITIONWe are looking for a Industrial Buyer that will join our Corporate Supply Chain Department reporting to the Corporate Indirect Purchasing Director.The Industrial Buyer will give support to the Indirect Purchasing area, purchasing all the capex related with strategic investments, indirect supplies or services involved in the process of acquisition of all products and services needed in order to realize a complete project. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)The position involves the following roles and responsibilities:Lead purchase of equipment’s, services and supplies. Tender process, analyzing of quotation and negotiation of the Global Frame Agreements with suppliers. Analyze categories of spending to determine potential cost savings and Implement cost reduction programsRenegotiation of supplier contracts where requiredStudy the relevant markets, keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniquesReview orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance.Remote or on-site support for factories and ongoing projects (mostly, factories in ramp up stage), under the supervision of the Indirect Purchasing Director.Manage and implement cost-effective supplier management practicesIdentify new ways of working with suppliersManagement of existing supplier relationships and contractsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS3 years of Technical Purchasing experience (Tendering, bidding, negotiation…)Bachelor`s Degree in engineering is highly valued (depending on the experience in technical purchasing, it could be open to other degrees or trainings). Specific knowledge: Commercial terms and conditions applicable in commercial contracts and experience on CAPEX projects.Master’s Degree will be highly valuedFluent in English and Spanish (at least B2 level in both languages is required)Advanced level SAP MMAdvanced level Excel and WordProactivity, flexibility and teamworking skills are a must.
