Mission.
Thales Alenia Space in Spain is looking to hire a candidate that will work in a highly innovative environment and will participate in international telecom satellite projects as HW IVVQ Technician.
Understand Element Under Test (EUT) definition documentation (electrical schematics, wiring drawings, assembly drawings) Review Test procedures at EUT level, providing valuable input for improvement if applicable Validate the Element Under Test (EUT), first through inspection and afterwards through electrical testing using the appropriate test equipment or test bench and the coded test sequences.
Validation will be done in cleanroom or lab Work closely with HW design engineers to understand the intricacies of the Element Under Test (EUT) and Test Bench, and provide valuable input for improvement.
Generate Inspection and Test validation reports Perform small repairs of electronics boards and small harness manufacturing in the lab Participate in project meetings and validation activities with project team The laboratory/clean room tasks shall be done in-situ in TAS-E facilities (Tres Cantos, Spain) Tools.
Internal laboratory tools & instruments like Multimeters, Power Supplies, Power Meters, Counters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Data Patterns Generators, etc Soldering station Office suite Skills & Qualification.
Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Electronics, Industrial Electronic Systems or a related field.
Proven experience in HW electronics testing (minimum 2-3 years), ideally in the space industry.
Experience/Knowledge in IVVQ strategy for testing HW of electronic systems Ability to anticipate and manage risks and opportunities associated to IVVQ activity Experience/Knowledge of electronics HW design Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills Proactivity and commitment towards the assigned tasks to ensure completion in time, cost and performance Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Motivated to learn new technologies, and space-business processes and tools.
Valued Experience/ Knowledge in Agile methodology Other Valued skills.
