HOUSEKEEPING TEAM LEADER

Description.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for Supervisory duties in the Housekeeping department.
This includes inspecting guest rooms, counseling and interviewing employees, resolving guest complaints, general office duties, etc.
Minimum of 1-year hotel experience and excellent communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Duties include.
· Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness on a daily basis.
· Prepares and distributes the Room assignment sheet and floor keys.
· Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence · Train associates on cleanliness, maintenance and hygiene standards · Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job · Respond to customer complaints and special requests with corrective action · Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock.
Stocks and maintains supply rooms orders supplies according to a budget.
· Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas · Prepares and distributes the Room assignment sheet and floor keys.
· Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with theFront Office (https://setupmyhotel.

· Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
· Inventory management of the stock required in cleaning and maintenance.
· Conducts or ensures all Training and Evaluations are completed as required by Hyatt · Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed.
Qualifications.
A minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality/ Tourism Management of relevant field; A minimum of two years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience; A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds; Service oriented style with professional presentations skills; Must possess the following strengths.
high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line; Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills Willing to work all shifts; weekends, overnight and holidays.
Physically able to do considerable amount of lifting, pushing, stretching and bending, with moderate amount of weight.
