CY May ENERGY, WATER AND GAS FUNCTIONS Reporting to the CFO and based in Spain or Italy, you will face the challenges of.
IT Strategy and Governance.
Develop and implement our customer’s IT and digital strategy, align IT initiatives with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements (cybersecurity, data protection, and renewable energy reporting standards) Establish and maintain IT policies.
Infrastructure and Digital Ecosystem Management.
Build and develop our customer’s digital ecosystem, integrating SCADA, Asset Management, Revenue, and Trading systems to support business operations.
Oversee IT infrastructure.
cloud-based platforms, networks, and monitoring tools for renewable energy assets.
Ensure reliable IT operations across remote project sites and offices, optimizing system performance and connectivity.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management.
Supervise cybersecurity as a core component of the operational framework.
Ensure compliance with NIS2 regulations and industry cybersecurity frameworks.
Conduct risk assessments, implement security protocols, and develop incident response plans to safeguard IT operations.
Data Strategy and Analytics.
Define and implement the optimal data strategy.

Design and implement data analytics solutions to monitor and enhance the performance of renewable energy assets.
Support real-time monitoring systems for wind, solar, and other renewable plants, leveraging AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
Interface with external data sources, analyze performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Digitalization and Monetization Support.
Drive the adoption of scalable digital solutions to enhance asset monetization and operational efficiencies.
Implement control loops and automation strategies that optimize revenue generation and asset performance.
Ensure smooth integration of SCADA systems within the broader digital ecosystem Team Leadership.
Lead a small, efficient IT & Digital team, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
Promote skill development in emerging digital technologies relevant to the renewable energy sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements.
Experience in operational digitalization, with a strong focus on building digital ecosystems Knowledge of control loops and scalable monetization systems Experience with SCADA systems and their integration into digital environments Familiarity with trading systems (desirable) Experience in the renewable energy sector (desirable) Good command of English (C1-C2)
