In this position, you will contribute our forecasting capabilities through enhancements, automatization and expansion of our forecasting cycle.
Maintain and improve our current forecast engine code base Develop new features to include more statistical or machine-learning based models and algorithms Lead innovation projects related to the forecasting cycle and related to increasing the impact of our forecasts within the business Mentor the team on good coding practices Expand the models to a broader reach than demand forecasting (production cycle, lead time, price...) Our ideal candidate is specialized in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, economics, and have a broad experience with time series forecasting, in particular on the statistical and machine learning models and algorithms.

Defining statistical forecast strategies based on advanced algorithms.
Analyses the client portfolio behavior and identifies statistical/ML approaches for the different segments Determines forecast error targets Automatize further the best algorithms selections simulations Develop and Maintain the forecast engine and related tools Generates the reporting/alerts for internal forecast review Managing statistical forecasting tools and innovation.
Lead and manage innovation projects Model business problems into data solutions Ability to assess the value of the different methods and algorithms and explain them in business terms Ability to influence executives and senior management on the benefits of utilizing advanced analytics We expect you to program at an advanced level with R and Python.
Experience with DevOps/MLOps lifecycle is a plus.
Supply Chain - Demand Planning in particular - and knowledge of Kinaxis is not mandatory but a strongly recommended.
