What You’ll Do Criteo is in search of an organized self-motivated Finance Accountant to join our Finance team in India.
The successful candidate is confident yet humble, can demonstrate a solid depth of knowledge on the local India tax law and regulation and can work seamlessly with the global team.
As the Finance Accountant, India, you will assist the Finance Manager, India, liaise with the external accounting/tax advisors and various stakeholders in Paris.
This role is based in our Gurgaon, India office.
Responsibilities Statutory audit/ tax compliance [50%] · Interface with India statutory auditors, ensure no material audit adjustments · Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance and timely filing of all statutory tax and other compliance requirements Goods & Services Tax - Work with local tax advisor on the monthly reconciliation, payments, returns; guide G/L team on the booking and GL reconciliation WHT - Work with local tax advisor on monthly reconciliation, submit monthly WHT analysis and quarterly report (Form 26Q and Form 27Q); guide G/L team on the booking and GL reconciliation · Work with local tax advisor on quarterly Advance Tax calculation, Annual ITR, reconciliation, payments and filing; guide G/L team on the booking and GL reconciliation · Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure as per India GAAP and US GAAP · Collaborate with stakeholders of the global shared service team in Paris · Successfully implement and maintain India local special ledger (SAP, Z- ledger) Financial review and analytics [%] · Prepare monthly financial package and review with Finance Manager, India · Deep-dive review of inter-company transactions · Ensure no material misstatements and follow up on the process gaps identified Accounting/ tax administration [%] · Review India tax invoices and ensure correct compliance and accounting · Work closely with Corporate Legal team for corporate governance/corporate secretarial matters · Liaise with Corporate Treasury team and interface with a local bank for finance and compliance matters, including preparation of the foreign remittance documents · Document India specific requirements and processes Other ad-hoc projects and requests [5% - 10%] · Bring a fresh perspective to provide process improvement and efficiencies to current day-to-day and month end processes · Drive regional initiatives assigned Who You Are.
Accounting or related major, bachelor degree or above Professional Chartered Accountant Certification At least 3 years of relevant working experience, strong knowledge of USGAAP and India GAAP Familiar with the India tax law & regulation, and bank regulation Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Meticulous & task oriented Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, esp..
