FUNCTIONAL ANALYST IN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS, TRANSPORTATION NETWORK CONFIGURATION, GTS

Amazon’s European Transportation team is responsible for our transportation network’s connectivity across Europe to deliver billions of shipments each year.
We collaborate with multiple internal teams (e.
., Transportation Design, Supply Chain, External Fulfillment, Tech, etc.) to ensure a speedy and reliable customer delivery in the cheapest way possible.
In Transportation Network Configuration Quality team, we’re looking for skilled and motivated program manager to step up in the troubleshooting of any potential issue that can affect Amazon Europe network.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase technical experience, hands-on capabilities, and technical leadership skills.
Key job responsibilities • You will be responsible for Amazon network configuration, ensuring highest standards in the network • Work alongside with our Transportation teams, Product Managers and SDEs to design, develop and improve processes while improving the purchase experiences of Amazon users.
• Mitigate issues impacting the network, providing short term mitigations and working on long term action plans for structurally address them • Scope and document system improvements required for customer experience enhancement • Interact with tech teams for driving and improving system and processes • Interact with operations stakeholders improving their customer experience • Document quality engineering processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain a robust knowledge base.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancements.
• Being part of the oncall rotation, providing support to the operations teams.
The oncall shifts will be performed during and outside business hours.
It is expected for the candidate to be performing oncall shifts outside of business hours during a continuous week every 8 weeks, based on the team oncall rotation.
A day in the life This position combines tactical and strategic responsibilities as stepping up to lead new programs.
You collaborate daily with stakeholders across multiple Organizations to resolve system and network issues with short and long term solutions.
Working with your team and internal partners, you invent and develop system and process improvements that deliver new business value, improve CX, and increase team productivity, speed, and quality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation or another technical field Supply Chain experience • Solid stakeholder management experience • Attention to detail with a track record of digging into issues, understanding their underlying causes and nuances.
• Strong analytical approach to decision-making, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Logistics network knowledge • Experience in continuous improvement processes • Ability to take the lead in designing, and implementing solutions to improve established processes.
