Job Description

What would you be doing?

Our client, one of Spains leading banks is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join its dynamic technology team. We seek a highly motivated professional with expertise in Spark, Scala, and Spring Boot, along with knowledge of Angular or React. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of robust banking solutions within a microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Spark and Scala.
- Implement and optimize Spring Boot applications.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration with Angular/React applications.
- Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring modular and high-performance solutions.
- Ensure code quality and security by utilizing tools like Sonar and Fortify, and resolving detected vulnerabilities.
- Implement unit tests using JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma to maintain high code reliability.
- Participate actively in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) to ensure efficient development cycles.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience as a backend developer.
- Strong proficiency in Spark and Scala.
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Sonar and/or Fortify for code analysis and security issue resolution.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing unit tests (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
