FORMULATION TECHNICIAN CO-OP

The Formulation Technician role is responsible for assignments related to the day-to-day activities of the R&D laboratory in a manner that results in high quality products, technical sales support, and customer satisfaction.
This position will work collaboratively with the entire organization in a fast-paced research and industrial environment.
Specific Responsibilities Include.
Prepare material, equipment, and workplace by the testing schedule Formulate admixtures and perform needed quality tests Record, calculate, analyze, and present test results Gather and maintain computerized data records Write laboratory reports Ensure conformance with ACI, ASTM standards and in-house testing & laboratory procedures Maintain equipment, clean and organize laboratory, and material storage areas Manage workloads to meet required deadlines Key Performance Indicators for this position.
Quantitative  Adherence and knowledge of safety regulations Ability to carry out formulation and testing procedures efficiently and consistently Effective control of lab inventory, measured by the ability to carry out test orders without delay, as well as accuracy of testing reports Proficient record keeping, reporting, and documentation Efficient experimental planning, communication, and teamwork Qualitative Knowledge of product applications and customer needs related to those products in order to ensure customer delight Build relationship with internal customers Responsiveness to supervisor Keen attention to detail Self-direction, time management, sense of urgency, and follow through Ownership of organization and appearance of laboratory facilities, equipment, storage area and tools Great attitude, work ethic, and interpersonal relations Achievement of performance goals ¿Es este trabajo para ti? Minimum Requirements.
