FINANCE CONTROLLER

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Controller to oversee all aspects of our financial management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role. This person is responsible for maintaining control over all the operations & business related to Madrid Office and coordinating all the payment transactions between the parties involved in the process. In charge of the reporting of Madrid Office and Surety Group. Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain established departmental policies, procedures and objectivesPrepare quarterly BudgetsElaborate Monthly BordereauxPayment controlCreate and maintain reporting Dashboards/KPI to the managementSupport in regulatory audits - AMLPerform intercompany reconciliationTax settlementPortfolio managementInsurance technical accountancy knowledgeTeam coordinationDaily control on bank transactions and all other tasks related to the bankCollaborate on IT management system upgradeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldAdvanced or Proficient English levelMinimum of 3 years proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, preferably in the insurance industry or financial services sectorStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standardsExperience in financial modeling, analysis, and forecastingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesBenefits Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and growthDynamic and collaborative work environmentWork-life balance initiatives such as smart working
