• Manages finance delivery in a geographic or equivalent area, delivering Finance programmes and plans that support the organisation’s objectives and incorporate the mid to long term business and Finance strategic priorities • Oversees others to deliver core Finance processes • Works with management to understand business priorities and tailor finance support to local requirements • Monitors performance, identifying and resolving any issues regarding finance delivery • Provides input to longer term development and improvement of AstraZeneca finance policy and programme design • Manages Finance resource requirements to deliver organisational Finance objectives and enable successful execution of day-to-day Finance programme delivery • Develops and manages the departmental budget • Mentors more junior staff and identified talent for development Typical People Management Responsibility (direct / indirect reports).
