We are looking for a Field Service E&A Technician with a main responsibility in supervising Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems.
The preferred location for this position is Valencia, Spain.
Your role and responsibilities      As a Field Service E&A Technician, your responsibilities will include traveling and working on-site, either during new installations (commissioning) or during overhauls of marine installations and power plants.
We expect you to have hands-on experience with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas, or Dual Fuel) and propulsion equipment such as CPPs, thrusters, and water jets.
A good command of both written and spoken English is essential.
As a Field Service E&A Technician you will focus on these responsibilities.
Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical systems and equipment at marine and power plant locations.
Assist in the setup, testing, and initial operation of new mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning as intended.
Support the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical systems and components during scheduled overhauls to maintain optimal performance.
Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various types of  4-stroke engines, including Diesel, Gas, and Dual Fuel engines.
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot different types of propulsion equipment, such as Controllable Pitch Propellers (CPP), Thrusters, and waterjets.
Be prepared to travel approximately 80% of the time to different sites to provide on-site mechanical support and services.
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Requirements for the position      Proven experience in troubleshooting, overhauls, and commissioning activities.
Willingness and availability to travel frequently (approximately 80% of the time).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in multicultural environments.
High awareness and commitment to safety standards and practices.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proficient in preparing clear and accurate technical reports.
Experience in direct interaction with clients, ensuring professional and effective communication.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
