About the role.
As a Expert DevOps Engineer (AWS), you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and vision for the DevOps team, defining and implementing best practices for infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes, driving automation, efficiency, and agility within the software delivery lifecycle Maintain a deep understanding of AWS services, IaC tools, and DevOps methodologies to solve complex technical challenges Effectively communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders, including developers, senior management, and clients Identify and address technical debt within the infrastructure, proactively implementing solutions for long-term maintainability and scalability Requirements We know that sometimes, you can’t tick every box.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success 7+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant leadership experience Proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale, secure, and reliable AWS solutions Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing DevOps teams Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (e.
., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty) Strong strategic and business acumen Desirable Cloud.
Extensive and deep understanding of a broad range of AWS services, best practices, and architectural patterns IaC Mastery.
Advanced proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools with the ability to design and manage complex infrastructure as code templates Containerization and Microservices.
Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures Complex Configuration Management.
Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.) Scripting and Programming Expertise.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.
., Python, Java, Go) for building robust automation solutions Robust Networking.
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design, hybrid cloud architectures, and network security Security Focus.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, penetration testing, and compliance standards (e.
., SOC 2, ISO , PCI DSS) Leadership and Communication.
Excellent leadership skills, fostering a positive team environment, inspiring innovation, and effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences Multi-Cloud.
