Responsibilities include assisting the General Manager, budgeting and financial planning and pricing to adhere to agreed prices/budgets, directing, and organizing all the hotel’s services and maintaining applicable quality standards and records whilst assisting with the responsibility for ordering and obtaining supplies, quality control and management of all team members.
This includes every aspect of the day-to-day running including all the operational departments including HHRR.
Main Tasks/duties and responsibilities • Quality Assurance / Operational Excellence • Support the delivery of the hotel’s Operational Excellence.
• Drive the OE house (medium/long term focus) • Measure and report on compliance with brand standards, guest satisfaction improvement with actionable insight.
• Champion initiatives to drive improvement in hotel key performance indicators impacting Guest Experiences • Ensure all team members have a working knowledge of OE and its impact.
• Support department heads/property to drive Quality results (LQA, ReviewPro, Guest feedback) • Review various property metrics to include business results and guest satisfaction to identify areas where learning is needed.
• Analyze guest data to identify trends and gaps in guest experience delivery.
• Drive the growth of the OE Network and support the development of on-property OE Champions • Champion best practice sharing between all Anantara hotels.
• Conduct biweekly OE meetings with HODs and GM.
• Actively report Quality data in all morning briefings • Take initiative to ensure OE is part of the daily conversation in every department.
• Share OE metrics updates on a weekly basis with all HODs.
• Quality control of all aspects including hygiene and health and safety • Manage customers’ expectations and deal and resolve with all queries and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist the General Manager in recruitment, training, set action and targets, appraise, and manage performance, development, coaching and general support of all hotel team members to ensure targets are met.
• Responsibly use resources and control expenses to operate within budgetary controls.
• Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.
Learning Strategy and Planning (applicable to Quality, Brand and Operational Service-related contents).
• Identify the training needs and approve with HRM and GM.
• Work with HRM and GM to create a detailed annual training plan and budget.
• Work with department heads to produce an annual training plan by department.
• Drive brand values, philosophy, and standards in all learning activities.
Secondary Tasks/duties The role is part of the whole organization team and as such requires you to perform such reasonable tasks that are required, as and when necessary, to maintain, promote, develop, and expand the business of the hotel and its interests generally.
You must carry out your duties to the best of your ability, having consideration for the needs of your colleagues, the Hotel, and its customers/clients.
You must obey all lawful and reasonable orders given to you and comply with the organization’s rules, procedures, and policies.
Requisitos You need.
• Qualifications sufficient to perform the job role.
• Fluent English • Experience as General Manager or EAM • Good understanding and proven ability of the hotel business and management principles required for the role.
• Leadership with ability to assist in driving and developing a hotel team.
• Genuine desire to serve the needs of customers with a strong personal responsibility for achieving customer satisfaction.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• High integrity and honesty in all dealings • Project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• You need to have and maintain (with regular training and updates as necessary) the knowledge, technical skills and qualifications that are necessary to perform your job role to comply with the requirements of the organization and any applicable rules, regulations (particularly of any professional body) and with any law which applies to your job role.
