The position is based in Cyprus, Limassol and welcomes applicants who are open to relocating.
In one sentence Real Estate & Facilities manager manages and leads the day-to-day operations and real estate of the business paying special attention to the premises on which the business is located.
What will your job look like? You will be responsible for defining and planning the FM and RE strategy within the region which address the GS goals and objectives You will plan and manage end-2-end projects within the region (building works, renovations, space allocation, etc.) You will supervise FM & RE experts, maintenance employees, contractors and vendors You will plan, manage and monitor FM & RE suppliers/vendors vs.
to contracts You will ensure the implementation of safety & security procedures on site as per local safety requirements as well as per the company's policy You will be responsible for properly maintenance of company premises and equipment, ensure cleanliness of sites, provide high standard catering services where needed You will encourage innovative activities aligned with business needs and supporting business growth and customer satisfaction You will be responsible for the RE budget within the region You will lead consolidation activities within the region to maximize ROI from building and assets usage You will coordinate lease renewals in collaboration with business units and procurement You will seek to understand the business challenges and requirements - translate them into tasks and projects to support business & ensure smooth and safe working environment within the region You will manage sites directly or indirectly, manage employees and a dozen contractors directly, and manage matrix contractors and vendors contracts.

Bachelor's degree Civil engineering or electrical engineering degree is required, as well as proven experience in facilities and Real Estate areas The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, with 2-4 years in a managerial position, in a similar role.
Basic experience in financial planning & control and/ or inspection and auditing Experience in project management from planning to execution Proven experience in managerial roles and/ or matrix management Why you will love this job.
