ELECTRICAL BIM MODELLER

We are currently recruiting an Electrical   BIM Modeler to be based in the Spain Enterprise Capabilities Office in Madrid.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules as outlined below.
The selected candidate will join our experienced and successful Rail Systems Team.
We develop international projects based in EEUU Australia Canada UK Middle East mainly in the rail sector and related to traction substations systems power distribution systems catenary telecommunications signaling etc.
Furthermore we develop other projects not directly related to the rail market for instance installations design in stations technical buildings or warehouses.
We work in all design phases depending on every Project and our scope of work in the Project from initial phases to detailed design and/or design & built.
We also provide support in the construction phase as-builts and feasibility studies.
The engineers in the team are professionals with experience in rail and multidiscipline skills not only for design tasks but also for project management.
We are looking for a BIM Modeller with knowledge in electric installations preferably rail installations.
We value the willingness to be part of a experienced transversal and united team y be part of emblematic and technically complex projects.
Main Tasks.
Support the engineers team facilitating the understanding of the Project installations and the detection and resolution of interfaces.
Create models from scratch in REVIT geolocalizated including Project parameters and Shared parameters linking models of other disciplines monitoring levels and grids of linked models like architecture and creating worksets.
Create and manage families related to Rail System.
conduits cable tray duct electrical equipment electrical fixtures mechanical equipment communication devices etc.
Create drawings using view templates filters titleblocks sheet lists and printing them under the project standards.
Attend meetings with the BIM team of the project to agree the quality and deliveries analyze the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and implement it in the engineers team in Madrid.
Attend periodic meeting of Clash detection and BIM Coordination of the project with the rest of BIM coordinators of the other disciplines.
Go with and participate with the engineers team in the design submissions as planned.
Qualifications.
Requirements.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with BIM modelling.
At least one of them in MEP/Electrical.
Experience working with Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience working with 2D tools for drawings diagrams and technical details.
Capacities and abilities in the following platforms and programs is positively valued.
BIM 360 ACC Navisworks Microstation.
Being familiar to BIM Check List will be positively valued.
Automation skills for tasks and BIM processes with Dynamo or other tools will be positively valued.
Teamwork skills and willingness to help.
