We are seeking a dedicated EHS Supervisor to join our team and lead our environmental health and safety initiatives.
Job Description.
As an EHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Your key responsibilities will include.
Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
Coordinating and leading safety training sessions for employees.
Investigating and reporting on workplace accidents and incidents.
Developing strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
Inspecting and evaluating workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with corporate and government health and safety standards.
Designing and implementing workplace processes and procedures that help protect workers from potentially hazardous work conditions.
Maintaining records of safety-related incidents and responses.
Advising and collaborating with management on safety compliance concerns and preventative strategies.
What Qualification We Are Looking For.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
