Responsibilities Brightstar is in search of our next efficient and committed Truck Driver to operate out of our Receiving Department at our Sacramento, CA headquarters.
Responsible for company cargo delivery to suppliers, distributors, and Brightstar properties.
Ensures the accuracy of all paperwork related to the job, as well as detailed yard maintenance and management of trailer volume.
Responsible for the safety of crewmembers, fellow employees, and the public while operating company vehicles and/or supervising/performing any company activity.
Follows proper guidelines for use of all equipment needed for completing local moving and storage jobs.
Ensures that vehicles and equipment are clean, safe, and in working order.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds as needed Requires occasional use of forklift and pallet jacks Load and unload terminals and supplies for distribution Complete the necessary paperwork associated with transfers from the warehouse Unloads deliveries of supplies from various vendors Verifies delivery receipts as needed for incoming/outgoing deliveries Performs minor preventative maintenance on forklift and transport vehicles Performs housekeeping duties in the warehouse Performs general maintenance duties as required Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 75% travel between local Brightstar sites; 75+% operating machinery/ vehicle   Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Must have a clean driver's license.
Must be able to work overtime daily and some weekends.
