As an Architect for Corporate Functions, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Novartis strategy to strive to Operational Excellence, achieves its goals through a proper architecture of its technology landscape.
An efficient and effective technology landscape is essential to support our business processes within Corporate Functions.
With a diverse customer group spanning from Communications & Engagement to Legal, the role will involve assessing, implementing, and integrating a mixture of enterprise standard solutions and niche applications addressing specific business capabilities.
#LI-Hybrid About the Role Key Responsibilities.
Oversee architectural activities for a specific business or technology domain, or architectural practice area, or manage the development of solution architectures for projects or programs within Corporate Functions.
Lead the efforts to identify innovative and creative approaches to solve business and IT problems resulting in accelerating the transformation of business outcomes Define and manage the development of architectural standards, and the direction and design of architecture for Corporate Functions.
Manage efforts to elaborate and communicate the architecture of the given domain and/or the development of architectural solutions for projects and programs.
Define and develop the logical design and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data in a new target state.
Understand and advocate the principles of business and IT strategies, Be prepared to "sell" the Architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results, and to lead the communication, marketing or educational activities needed to ensure Enterprise Architecture success and use.
Contribute and ensure adherence to Enterprise standards, architecture governance and community of practice.

What you’ll bring to the role.
Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering, or information technology discipline; an advanced degree and related accreditations is a plus.
10+ years and above experience in the areas of IT, with 5 years of experience in solution and/or enterprise architecture.
Experience providing enterprise guidelines for application, platform capacity and recommendations, setting standards on emerging infrastructure.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and properly delegate work.
Knowledge of industry best practices in architecture both cloud based and on prem solutions.
Desirable Requirements.
Experience working in an IT Environment supporting Legal, Ethics, Risk and Compliance functions in a large enterprise.
Certifications such in CEAP, TOGAF, ITIL, ARCHIMATE are a plus.
