Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a   Digital Data Management Specialist - Expert Your role in a nutshell.
Role purpose.
the Data & Analytics team provides high quality data management solutions enabling the delivery of digital dashboard to support top management decisions across Vodafone Group functions (HR, Commercial, Technology, Finance and Enterprise operations).
Working in agile project development in collaboration with project managers, IT developers and finance reporting teams to ensure the development and maintenance of complex database solution (Hyperion / Essbase / Cloud based data warehouse) to enable digital reporting.
Ensure alignment of the systems with ownership of mapping between transactional & financial data warehouses.
Solid understanding on key financial statements alongside with process improvement mindset to contribute on the digital transformation agenda.
Working with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and find and/or develop appropriate digital reporting solutions What you will do in your role.
Execute the system strategy for Group D&A Lead and provide end to end data governance support of ExCo and management reporting Lead development of database solution (Hyperion / Essbase / Cloud, etc.,) to enable digital reporting and data submission process.
Manage complex data warehouses by implementing system updates and ensure data flow across different reporting tools Own the implementation of system updates approved through governance (request, testing and production of Chart of Accounts).
Drive optimization of mapping solutions from different systems to ensures alignment, owns mappings between systems Acts as first level support (for the operational reporting teams/ in case of systems issues), escalates and raises  incidents.
Strong cooperation with other _VOIS organizations and functions.
Occasionally acting as project manager.
Supports senior role migration.
Captures knowledge of the migrated roles and bring it to the _VOIS EU Leads, manages, drives, coaches and trains new members of the reporting team, shares knowledge and best practices.
Leads process improvement initiatives.

Must have technical / professional qualifications.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience.
8+ years of experience in related fields Strong experience with database management including SQL, experience with Hyperion, Essbase and Cloud based DW Very good understanding and experience of BI and Analytics technology and techniques including knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools Database development in MS SQL / PL SQL Using ETL solutions & tools – SSIS, ODI, Alteryx, Powerquery (advantage) ERP system transformation / project delivery (advantage) Advanced Microsoft program skills (MsExcel, MS Access,) Solid experience in working with Agile development and methods in cross functional organization and across different locations Leading role in projects Telecom experience (advantage) Fluent English C Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders Excellent problem solving skills Ability to drive changes Project management skills Accuracy, attention to detail Solid soft skills of leading team members Planning and delivery with support in issue resolution Strong business and functional overview/ E2E view skills Proactive attitude, idea sharing Strategic and structured thinking In return we provide you with.
